I am new here and have a question about my soon to be hubby's ring.
Here is a picture of it:
His only concern is that it sits too high off his finger. I believe this is because he isn't used to wearing any type of ring and will get used to it, but if not, would it be possible (or not a big deal) for a jeweler to go in and shave off the yellow gold rim that extends past the diamonds? Also, if we can't shave it off (or he decides not to) can the whole ring be rhodium dipped to make the yellow gold rim (which is the only part of the ring that is yellow gold) look like white gold.
Any input would be greatly appreciated because we are both new to this. Thanks!
