so now its time to start searching for a band for her. if anyone has any ideas or something simple, modern, yet classic (she mentioned that she likes the wf & tiffanys scattered bands) could you please give your advice.

she has a tension setting from steven kretchmer (the omega round) so in your opinions should she wear the band with the ring or put in on her other hand so it doesnt take away from the side view of the tension?

i should also mention that she does not like alot of "bling" the scattered bands are the most diamonds she would want

thanks in advance for your help!

That is a beautiful setting which really highlights a crystal clear stone! I would vote for wearing it alone on her right hand and getting a wedding band for her left hand. Good luck in your search!

I don''t know how thick the shank is on the e-ring, but it looks pretty substantial. Maybe you could get a VERY thin low set wedding band that wouldn''t take away from the side view of the tension setting. If that doesn''t work, a wedding band for the other hand sounds good too. I like the WF scattered band. I also LOVE the champagne pave band they have, but I don''t know if that would be too blingy for her.

I am a fan of wearing the e-ring and wedding band together, so I am going to say that a thin scattered band that is rounded would be beautiful paired up with that gorgeous ring!

Ditto. And go with what she wants. I vote for the Tiff''s scattered band, have it mysel and love it. WF does a great version of it too, but haven''t seen it in person. I adore the ering, it''s awesome!!!

Mike, Kretchmer make matching bands that are the same height as the ering, in whatever width you want. I think these would look amazing with it.

Pearlmans, and in particular Jason Hankey has been very helpful to me with Kretchmer questions and they will price match and beat any other price you can find.

I can''t wait to see what you decide!

p.s. how wide is her ring?

If she likes the scattered band I would vote for the WF champagne one. I think it''s gorgeous

thanks for the advice!

for everyone asking how wide it is, the width of the platinum is 82% of the stone, so the sides are a bit exposed, he makes a wider one but we thought that was too thick. ill try and post some pics of its width.

heres some pics from my previous posts. its actually a pretty thin band...

I''m with Kaleigh on the Tiffany''s band if it works with her ring. I haven''t tried on the etoiles, but I love their bands, most of which are set nice and low, and I think it''s just kinda special to have a Tiffany WB. I vote for a trip to Tiff''s to try on their neverending variety of rings and failing that, you could see if a thin Kretchmer Omega wedding band could be made with a scattering of diamonds. That would be delicious. I''m not usually for matchy sets, but her e-ring is such a special piece, it would be criminal to take away from it''s impact. I''m also a fan of wearing the set together, but now that I think of it, my friends that have tension settings wear theirs w/o wedding bands.

i like the ering and wedding band together. i second the idea that if you get somethig small it might not take away from the profile. scattered bands are beautiful.

I agree too.

Her tension set ring is beautiful, good job

I think if you get a low enough band she will be able to wear them together without destroying the side view.

I''m on a huge bezel kick right now, so I thought of this Bev K band, but without the milgrain.

I don''t think you can buy a ring without going to try it on with the e-ring. It is important for the thickness to match to some extent or it might not look right. I really think it would be good to see if Kretchmer has any other bands that might work. But definitely go to Tiffany and try some on before deciding.

Good point diamondseeeker.
