cost to resize a ring

Just curious what others have paid to have a ring resized. I recently had a half-eternity pave band (in white gold) resized one half-size up, and I thought the price was a bit much. Anyone care to share what they''ve paid?

I had a platinum ring sized down at least a size in Rockville, MD, a few years ago and it cost me around $50.00. I think it depends on your location, metal, and whether you''re having it sized up or down. Might cost less when they abscond with the extra metal like they did with mine.

$50-75 is what I have paid. I have also paid slightly more for platinum than white gold.

I looked a little more closely at my receipt and saw that the price was well within the range y''all offered. (There were a number of items on the receipt and I got all discombulated.)

Haven''t been there in a while but they''re very pleasant.
