Within PS, this is the correct forum, but I don''t know of many ammolite collectors here.

My fiance is into chunky jewelry and ammolite looks like just what the doctor ordered. I "discovered" it because someone on this forum mentioned a site where they had good experiences with the owner, but I couldn''t find the post again and also couldn''t locate the site again.

I think it''s neat that this "gem" comes from something organic. Off to read the info on those links. I was going to ask whether I should be looking at doublets and triplets, I guess I have the answer.

The funny thing is I don''t know what I want to know yet, just seeing if this is the right place to ask when I DO have some intelligent questions to ask
