Copper fragments in gem silica

I took some photos of some copper fragments in a piece of gem silica I had the other day(Chrysocolla).
Thought they turned out well

Is that the same type of inclusion in schiller sunstone, another quartz based gem?

I ws actually commenting 2 days ago on how I know nothing about sunstone ..sorry TL I couldn't comment on that.

Except for the last one, they remind me of satellite pics of the earth.

Nice photos - some look a bit like the Maldives from the air...

TL - the inclusions in Sunstone (which is a oligoclase feldspar) are flakes of haematite or goethite. They look a reddish colour due to the iron content in the haematite. I think (but not 100% certain) that only Oregon Sunstone sometimes contains flakes of copper.
