Convertible jewelery

Hi there, i recently purchased a amethyst from Dana, its rather large so i'm thinking its best suited for a pendant, but i was curious about convertible pieces because i had never seen or heard of them before. I would love it if you'd show me yours. This is only my second gem purchase, the sapphire i purchased and am hoping to use in my replacement wedding set should get here today. Honestly I'd really love any and all ideas for my amethyst.
Also, i never intro'd because i wasn't sure if you do that here, but. Hi, I'm Sabrina currently a stay at home mom in NC.

I totally missed this thread, I'm also a SAHM in CT and we are thinking or relocating to NC in the future! My youngest is three so he will be in school next year so my SAHM days are numbered!

So, I don't have any experience with convertible jewelry but i saw this necklace on Etsy and thought it might be a cool look for your amethyst. Not sure if it's your style but I love how the rainbow moonstone looks with the purple.
