Contour Curved bands to go around solitaire

Hi there!

Does anyone have pics of solitaires with curved bands on the top and bottom of a solitaire that makes it look like a halo? I don''t know if this can be done but my FI and I agreed that I will keep my solitaire the way it is, however, I am partial to the antiquey look of a halo. I was thinking it might be possible to mold the curves of the band close to the setting to create the illusion of a halo around my RB soitaire. Has anyone seen something like this before? I am going to my jeweler in AZ in 3 weeks to work on our wedding bands. Any help or pictures of what I am describing would be a great help!

Try searching the net using ''solitaire enhancer'', or ''ring enhancer'' or ''ring guard''. Here are a couple of links that I came up with that might give you some ideas. Ring enhancers were really popular for solitaires a number of years ago.

I had a curved wedding band custom made by Saturn Jewels to wear with my e-ring. I could have had two bands made to enclose the ring. HTH.
