Working with my jeweller to upgrade the diamond in my ring. Considerin a .56 ct IGI certified ideal cut diamond. It scored .7 on the HCA tool, with an "excellent" rating for everything except spread (which was Very Good). Proportions seem to be within both GIA and AGS excellent/ideal. Just wondering if I should be concerned with a pavilion angle of 40.5? Does a crown angle of 35.6 balance that out? Or could there be light leakage/obstruction issues?

If its not cut with large variations in the angles it can work.
Any images?

I've asked the mods to move your thread to the lab-grown diamond forum.

Do you have the report number so we can look for a video or image?

Nothing jumps out as concerning, but static pics can be sorta hard to tell

Here's the 360 video.

I personally shy away from a 40.5 pavilion angle for a ring, but this one looks pretty good.

That is safe but its not always a problem.
If a lot of mains drop below 40.45 and or short lgf%(wide arrows) can be indicators of issues.
