Confused about points and ct weight

I just had a new setting custom made and I''m a little confused about the information I was given when it was completed (I haven''t seen it yet, only pictures, it''s on it''s way apparently). To generally describe it, it is a pave halo, and I am told by the makers that it ended up having 1.38 ct of diamonds and 184 points. Well, I thought a point was 1/100 of a ct, so wouldn''t that mean the diamond has 138 points? Could that have been a type-o? I''m going to ask, but I didn''t want to appear completely uneducated before I do. Thanks for your help!

Very weird typo. Only things I can think of are:

1) 184 points total, 46 center, 1.38 tcw halo, or
2) 184 points in the halo, 1.38 ct center

Ok, good, I''m not the only one confused. They know it''s a 2 ct center stone, so it must be some strange type-o, but I did send off an email asking. I suppose I should report my findings! Thanks
