Hi all,

I'm currently looking at two stones from Whiteflash. I'm currently chatting to their advisor over email and have had a few details.

The first is this 1.042 G SI1 - http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3513227.htm

I've had confirmation that it is eye clean even at 6 inches so it sounds really promising.

The second is this 1.074 H VS2 - http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3482193.htm#

Given the eye clean nature of the first stone i'm more tempted by that as it's a G. I've checked the HCA and they score 1.1 and 1.2 respectively.

I know they'll both be great stones but I'm just looking for any additional help that may help to swing my thoughts either way. Thanks in advance.

Yup, if both are eye clean, it'd be better to go with the G stone.
Specs are very comparable and both are ACA.
What did the advisor recommend? At first it may seem counter-intuitive to trust the person selling you the diamond.
But most of the trusted vendors here are usually very upfront about their stuff, and can be the best people to advise you since they are the ones who can actually see the stones.
If you are not happy, they are not happy.

My take is always "pay for what you can see"

If they are both eye clean. Then i wouldn't pay more for a vs stone.

If the g is whiter, by definition, than the h. I would lay for the g.

I've bought quite a few things from Whiteflash and trusted their judgement as to which diamond performed better. I think both of these diamonds are gorgeous but since they can see them I'd ask their opinion.

Thanks guys. Yes they say the G is the one to go for as there's negligible difference in the clarity. Just waiting for a little 360 video on Monday and I think I'm good to go. They have been amazing so far so I trust their judgement.

They are equal in cut and light performance. I'd personally choose the H because VS2 is my limit for a ring stone, and even though it is a tiny difference, I like that it goes over the 6.6mm mark. You can't go wrong with an ACA either way.

Trigger pulled! I went for the G as I got a little bit more off the wire price. Thanks all.
