Hi I am looking for a diamond in the price range of $1500. I found few diamonds from Blue nile and James allen. I would request experts to give me their opinion on both.

I am looking for D-IF , excellent cut, excellent symmetry, no fluor ;
For round cuts : I have chosen Table % : 53 - 64%; Depth% 60.1 – 64%;

Princess cuts (I have chosen Table % : < 75%; Depth% 65 - 75; )

The BN links don't take me to a specific stone - sorry.

The JA rb scores well on the HCA (0.8 ) - now ask for an idealscope image to verify it's light performance.

The HCA is valuable for weeding out poor performers for round brilliants only. Unfortunately there is not a comparable tool for fancy cuts like princesses - they need to be seen and light performance images taken (ASET in the case of fancies). That said, the JA princess looks nice to my eye - now reserve both JA stones, ask for an idealscope on the RB and an ASET on the princess.

Just out of curiosity, why D IF?
