Comparing Two Cushion Cuts

Hello,

I am looking at two cushion cuts and would like some feedback. I initially liked the second diamond listed below better but the fact the GIA certification is from 2012 scared me because it implied people have been passing on it for 5 years. It also had "good" symmetry; however, I am not sure how much that affects the diamond.

Can anyone provide some thoughts? Overall I am looking for a 2+ carat cushion under $22.5k that doesn't have the "crushed ice" look. I also would like it to have a ratio of at least 1.07 for a more rectangular look.

I can't really speak to these because I'm not a cushion expert but maybe the second one was a trade-in? That would explain an older cert

That is a good thought. Is this something I should avoid?

I think they both look nice...did you request an aset on them (if they are in NY they can do them)...overseas (no).

I think the 2.01 has a more symmetrical look to it but for some odd reason I am attracted to the 2.02. I think I like the
length/width on it.

I obtained an ASET of the 2.02 diamond, which I also like better. I don't know how to read ASET images so assistance is greatly appreciated!

Red is the best, then green...white is leakage. Would like to see more red on the East/West sides. Center looks very nice.

I saw the aset you posted for the one I suggested. It has a lot of light leakage. Of the two you posted, I like the 2.01 better.
