Hi,

This is my first post on this site and I am looking into getting an custom made Halo engagement ring from Leon Mege and I have posted the center stone! Can you experts please give me some feedback and comments on this stone?!

I want to propose to my future wife and I am somehow an perfectionist so I want to get her the best I can find out there! I also do prefer quality over size!

I heard that antique cushion cut diamonds do look a bit smaller when they are cut compared to modern cuts is that truer?!

It is very difficult to judge a cushion from numbers. Do you have a picture of the stone? I'm sure an antique cushion in a halo setting will be stunning!

Cushions tend to face up smaller per/ct compared to RMBs for example, but you have your measurements on the GIA report.
Post the photo and I'm sure you'll get more comments on the stone itself.
Sounds like a lovely project.

Although they may face up smaller per ct, they are helper per ct so you can afford to buy more.
