I could really use some help from my fellow pricescope-ers. I recently purchased a ring (that''s currently in the works) and I''m having second thoughts about the sizing. I want to keep everything a surprise so I actually sent in a spy (her sister) to find out her ring size. The intel I got was that my girlfriend is a size 4.5.
The setting that I am getting is an "inspired by Vatche" Royal crown setting with a comfort fit band. From what I gathered from various sources, it seems you should order either 1/4 or 1/2 of the normal size because of this setting type.
Now, I am starting to panic and starting to think that I want the ring to be 4.25. My question is, am I losing sleep for nothing? Will the difference be that great for this type of setting? Should I go for the 4.25 instead of 4.5? Does the comfort fit really make that big of a difference that I need to go smaller?
By the way, the band size will be 2.5 mm. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
