Colored Stone shopping, NYC

I am going to New York City next week to visit a friend. She said she'd humor me and go along with me to the Diamond District. Yay! I'm not really in the market to purchase a diamond or any diamond jewelry right now, but I could be interested in a loose tanzanite should I encounter just the right one. I plan to stop at Paraiba International. Any other must-see places for tanzanites in that area of the city? Any advice would be appreciated!
