No way to know from those photos. Can't get a read on the quality of the make or of the stones.

Any hallmarks on the metal or chain findings to help us? Can you provide any sense of scale -- like a ruler or penny in the photo? Any context -- like "found it at the playground" or bought it on eBay?

It is an odd assortment for fakes -- in the combination of cuts and color -- so they could be "genuine," but genuine what I don't know. Even if they were real, not sure it makes a lot of difference, value-wise.

Sorry to say but that's a pretty lazy post -- not sure why I'm answering.

Real what?

Could be cut glass for all I know based on the photos in the original post.

DK :))

It supposed to be alexandrite. Lazy post? New at this. What light should I use? Green at times bluish purple at other times. Be considerate I ma not good at this. Just under quarter in size

I will try to get a better photo. Lots of flaws. Supposed to be alexandrite.

@LilAlex is always considerate... that's why he answered honestly. What he meant by "lazy" was that you didn't give us any information about the piece in your original post, and then asked us to wager a guess using a couple of very poor quality photos. I realize you are relatively new here, and it seems English may not be your first language. Typically, everyone is really patient, but here's the issue. This forum is for natural gemstones... and it's for discussion. It's not a great place for folks to post random materials they find and demand an identification or value, without engaging us at all. And honestly, that's not really helpful to you either, because our advice would be so limited. But this is the 4th or 5th time, that I know of, that you've posted these sorts of topics. I feel badly, because you're not getting the responses you expected.

We all have a different idea of what's beautiful and what's collectible. And crystals, synthetics, and simulants can be a lot of fun! But I'm afraid this just isn't the place for it. Maybe check out the Fashion Jewelry area? Perhaps also check out some of the pinned threads to sort of acquaint yourself with the forum and colored gems themselves.

Good luck, and I'm sorry you didn't receive a warmer welcome this time. We're tired.... and cranky... and old. Or maybe that's just me?
