Wedding Color theme and Bridesmaids dresses

What do you ladies think about brown bm dresses for a July wedding? I was hoping for pink, but I know pink floral arrangment won''t look good with pink dresses around... but I afraid brown is not summer enough... any idea?

For an evening wedding, I think brown would look great!

I love brown. If you''re worried about them being too dark, you can lighten the look with sashes or with the bouquets. Also, they''ll look lighter if they''re short rather than long dresses.

Brown will be awesome if you choose the right material. Avoiding satins, raw silks and other heavy fabrics will lighten it up a lot. My Matron Of Honor wore a lovely Espresso Chocolate brown dress to my wedding in July of 2007...but she chose the dress in taffeta, which gave the gown an overall lighter feel.

The girls will look great in brown, considering you''re going to dress it up in pinks. It will be stunning.

personally, i think your bridesmaids will love you forever if you go with brown because it''s a MUCH more rewearable color than pink or blue or anything else bright or pastel (too bad i thought about that AFTER my own wedding with blue dresses, haha). i love pink and brown together, and i think brown is neutral, so it works in any season.

I love Brown and pink together! Very cute. My personal opinion is it will look fine during that time of year!! Very cute!
