What would be a good price for a very good cut vvs2 K color 2.29ct diamond?

a round stone in that catagory with an e.g.l cert. should cost around $8500.00.
I would suggest going up in size to 2.50+cts. and getting a VS1 quality.

However, once shape, color and clarity is typed in, what does no do about the "very good cut" bit?

There will certainly be a difference between GIA and EGL certified stones. And K color is not as close to L as D to E. It may make a real difference who sys the stone is K color.

It woukd be great to find a very good cut round at the above mentioned price. Also, K-VVS should cary the same value as some J-VS stone quite a bit whiter, if this is an issue at all.
