I am looking for a high quality diamond (it's amazing what $10k doesn't buy these days). I need to compromise on something, I guess. I'm sticking with Ideal cut. What should my limit be on color? I was thinking G or H seem to be about the same as D-F, from a non-jeweler perspective, but can I go even higher (to I?). Am I sacrificing anything substantial in sparkle or overall appearance?

Hello again. My personal opinion is that I would sacrifice size over cut, color, or clarity. The cut will affect sparkle the most. A "K" diamond and a "H" diamond will sparkle the same if all other factors remain constant. In a larger diamond, you will notice clarity "issues" a little easier, I think...as grading tends to be more lenient proportionally as carat weight goes up. Hope this helps!:))
