I visited Coco in the hospital today. She was so happy to see me as I was to see her. The Vet has called in a specialist who will be performing an ultrasound on her later in the week. They think she may have a tumor or lymphoma or something else that hasn''t shown up.

We are doing everything to help her come home. I won''t give up on her...she saved me when I needed her the most. On my worst days, she is my reason for getting out of the bed. I have SLE Lupus and do not feel well most days.

Lori, thoughts and prayers continue. we have been in a similar situation and our baby came home and had a great quality of life for some time. I don''t know the specifics in your situation but I would try as hard as I could for Coco just as you are doing.

Sending out heaps and heaps of healing dust and prayers for your beloved Coco!!!

prayers continue

More prayers, healing thoughts and DUST ****coming to both of you. Our babies seem to sense when we''re not feeling well and provide so much love without uttering a word...

Best wishes to you and to sweet Coco!

COCO IS HOME!!!! She spent a whole week in the hospital and we are SO happy to have her back home with us! Here she is catching up on the mail.

Her ultrasound was normal and it turns out that she has food allergies. Our precious Vet changed her over to some prescription dry food and she has adjusted to it without any problem. She will remain on this food for the rest of her life.

Some people have told me that they wouldn''t spend money on an animal like this. I''m just shocked because Coco is a member of our family and I would no more withhold medical care for her than I would for my DH.

You don''t know what your prayers/dust have meant to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Yay, Coco! I'm glad to hear that you're back home again. I hope the new diet works. "The best doctor in the world is the veterinarian. He can't ask his patients what is the matter - he's got to just know." -- Will Rogers

This is the best news I could have ever read this morning.

As someone who feels exactly the same way about her pets (part of the family) and someone who has spent thousands of dollars to save them....I totally understand where you are coming from. Our pets, may they be cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, etc....ARE family members and they do affect the family dynamic. How could anyone just let them go without trying?

I''m so happy for you...please post more pics when you can....I''d love to see more pics of Coco!
