What do you PS-ers think about these inclusions on this 1.6 SI2?
It appears that the cloud and crystal are right smack in the middle...

Check with the vendor that the cloud isn''t negatively impacting performance and that the stone is eyeclean to your particular standards.

ditto, no way to tell from just the inclusion plot.

Can''t tell from the plot, but I am not optimistic. I think when one inclusions makes it an SI2 it is worse than when it is a bunch of diffuse inclusions.

As described it takes up about 5% surface area.

But it depends more on the depth below the table and the degree of absorption of the cloud.
If the cloud is down near the bottom near the culet - then maybe 30% of the light rays can be effected and it could be very very dull.

My experiance with GIA''s approach to clouds is don''t waste too much time. Look for honest inclusions that can be covered with prongs.
