Clean Origin solitaire is here! Keeper or no? And band help please.

It’s here! 1.73 I/eye clean SI1 ideal cut round brilliant on a size 6 finger. It’s gorgeous but I have such big hands that I feel like the stone is lost. I can exchange it if desired. Does it look proportionate or should I go bigger? I’m also trying to decide between these 3 types of bands. Which one would go best?

That is a gorgeous looking diamond! You do NOT have big hands, but you DO have lovely, long fingers. It looks perfect on your hand.The only reason I would consider exchanging for larger is if you are prone to the dreaded "Shrinkage Factor" that has caused so many of us to size up in carats!
Also, I vote for the eternity band sitting alone on the rock. I love that the diamonds aren't overwhelmed by too many prongs.It would be perfect with your RB in a classic solitaire setting.

Agree with @jeaniefish it looks perfectly proportionate and if anything pretty big on you, I would have guessed it was 2ct. I like the ring on the rock best also but hard to tell without it in mext to your solitaire. Congrats!

I think it looks really good on your hand. I also like big diamonds so if you are thinking about it and don’t have an upgrade option then try on a 2 or 2+ct before committing to this one. I like the band on the rock, but have wondered if the diamond girdles scratch against the ER when worn together? Does anyone have any experience with a set like this? I also really like the WB pic, but it looks like the ER shank is thinner than yours so not sure how the super skinny band would look with your ER. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

But seriously, if you are not sure about it now, you are unlikely to get more sure about it, I would say, so perhaps it would make sense to go bigger while you are still in the exchange window.

I would wear it out and about for a few days, though, to see how you feel about the size in different situations - you might find you feel it is 'too big' for some situations, such as travelling on public transport or going to the supermarket, 'just right' for other scenarios, such as meeting with your boss , but 'too small' in some other cases, such as when looking at Pricescope... lol
