what is the difference in a clarity inhanced diamond? I''ve noticed that they seem to be a lot cheaper, but why?

Because you should avoid buying one?

One type of clarity-enhanced diamond is the fracture-filled diamond. This is where inclusions which reach the stone’s surface are filled with a liquid agent or resin so that the inclusions become invisible.

However, the filler material may deteriorate (for example, it may change color or just evaporate altogether) and change the clarity appearance of the stone. Also, the diamond’s durability may also be adversely affected.

This is what I know about clarity enhancement. I've always been under the impression that you should steer clear of these diamonds! Maybe one of the experts on the forum can comment further.
