Clarity - Inclusion Location and quantities

Hi All,

I was curious if somebody could shed some light on the range of diamond prices for inclusions at different locations and different types. Within exactly the same grade on 4Cs, how much of a variation would you see for the location and types on inclusions?

To the best of my knowledge, there is not a different. All VS1 are priced as VS1, all VS2 are priced at VS2, etc. In the area between SI2 and I1 there are sometimes variances depending on how good or poor the stone is, which is why EGL created the SI3 grade. (Actually, I think it was Tom Tashey when he was with EGL LA who created that grade, but I could be wrong.)
