Citrine pendant

I shared this in the brides thread before b/c I bought it to wear for my wedding. I wanted to share the stone with you guys since its been a while since I had anything new to show off. I''m still working on applying strmrdr''s principles of photography, so the pictures are not nearly as clear as I''d like them to be. I really wanted something that had a ''deco'' feel without being too in-your-face about it. I thought the cut of the stone gave the geometric feel. Plus, its way bigger than anything else I own, so that was pretty exciting.

The only thing is that it wasn't a "project" per say since it is a vintage piece that was already set.

i will definitely post some shots with the dress when i do my first fitting. i need to try to get some shots in natural daylight -- those above were at night and it is much harder. i''m also finding it difficult to get the necklace to stay still b/c if it is leaning against something it is essentially balancing on the culet of the stone.
