I recently bought a little vanadium chrysoberyl. I say little- she’s 1.6 cts. Anything much bigger that that can be pretty pricey and I didn’t wanna spend that kind of money having not seen one in person.
I love her. This one is a sea glass/ sea foam green.
I had no idea how to set something this size so she say in a box for a while.
I was perusing eBay (like I do ) and found a setting sold to fit a “1.5 ct round” I scoffed to myself and a lightbulb went off. It had returns so I gave it a go. The setting looks like it was *made* for this stone. It has antique stones a set of traps, marquise, and teeny tiny French cuts.
the fact all the stone sets are such a different shape you don’t really notice the cut on the chrysoberyl isn’t vintage. They all go together. She’s on the petite side- and I don’t have a lot of those so - a nice addition to my collection.

Very pretty!!

Lovely!!!

What a beautiful setting and it fits perfectly! Meant to be!

That is beautiful! Ring and stone look like they were made for each other. Also is there a thread on your french cut band?

She's my perfect size and I love the variation in diamond shapes that set her off.
:lickout::love: I'm jealous, jealous again.

I am not sure I ever made one for that

That reminds me. She IS perfect size you know she was already my size too??

This is gorgeous! I love the delicate hue of the green - it's very whimsical & pretty.

It really does look perfect in that setting! Enjoy!

I’m in love with this! The color, the size, the setting…it’s just gorgeous

Well done on figuring out that this setting and stone belonged together!

What a charmer!! I adore that setting!

I love it! The gem on its own is stunning, but in the setting, its a real knock-out! I always love a "lucky find" on ebay story :D

What a wonderful ring this is!!! It's absolutely perfect!!!!!!!

Beautiful! Perfect setting for it, looks like they were meant for each other!

Not a stone you see everyday, and your ring is exquisite. Just lovely and rare and such a treat.

I love it! I saw your avatar and assumed it was custom-made. This is stunning!

She is everything as you know! :kiss2::kiss2::kiss2::kiss2::kiss2::kiss2:

Honestly you’d think it was. Even the tab prongs are as thick as the cut corners.
She probably won’t be my avatar for long I have a long awaited one in the works.

Thanks all! I really love her I know she could just be a small aquamarine but it’s a stone I really am drawn to and the unique stone paired with a needle in a haystack setting makes me feel things lol

Love the stone and setting! What a great find!
