It is a gorgeous ring! Could it be that you are seeing the double reflection of the moissy and therefore view it as “glassy”?

I honestly cannot tell which is which on your grouping. Which is good

I haven't figured it out yet. The moissy definitely seems fuzzier, but it also seems less reflective than diamond. It may just be a feature of this cut and less the moissy. I am also not used to larger diamonds, and maybe I would see the same if someone handed me a 2ct diamond.
