Still toying with the idea of getting my 2.5 RB insured.

Edited to clarify I am not interested in replacement policies... just ones that will send you a check for the insured amount (on the sales receipt of the ring).

I got this email from William Castro, an agent recommended by Rockdoc here on PS:

Dear XXXXX:

Due to recent changes enacted by Chubb, stand alone policies are no
longer available.
However, their underwriting department is willing to provide the
coverage in conjunction
With a rental, coop and or condominium policy.
If you are still interested, please contact me again via email.

Best regards,

William

did you try to go through Touchstone.com ? they offered chubbs stand alone when I check about six months back. Not sure though now. I know in my state Chubbs did not offer one unless it was for $100k or more, but with Touchstone it was offered for a min of $10k. Try there with them if you are still interested with Chubbs

D&T, thanks, I''ll check there. The email William sent made it sound like a Chubb company-wide policy but we''ll see... thanks again for the recommendation.

Yikes @ the "yawn!" But thank you for the links. I did do a search on insurance which is how I came up with William Castro, but I did not come across that thread.
