Hello All.
Well I finally made a decision on a diamond and the setting. I am buying a pear diamond from Jonathan at GoodOldGold and having Mark Morrell make a custom platinum ring. I am also having the Dave Atlas perform the appraisal. I will tell more about all of that later.
Now, I need to insure the ring. I have decided (I think) to go with Chubb Ins. based on their policy for "as declared value" and to either cash out or allow you to pick a retailer to replace the ring with. But I do not know which Chubb Ins. representive to use.
I called a few that Chubb list on their website, but they will not give jewelry insurance only. I call the Grand Rapids branch, but there is no answer and the mailbox is full.
Does anyone know a good Chubb agent that deals with jewlery insurance and offers good customer service????
I called AAA, who is my regular ins. comp. But they will only replace the ring with one they find for you. I don''t like that policy.
Thanks for the help.
