Here is my new Chrysoberyl ring. It is 3.16 carat and the setting is 18 carat WG with .20 diamonds on the shank. Pictures taken with my old Iphone. I resisted the urge to auto correct the color but the pics don't do it justice. I think most of us know that feeling. Lol

Wow! Awesome color and that setting looks perfect on your hand! Did you get the Chryso from a PS recommended vendor??? Who set the stone?? Or did you purchase it from your favorite jeweler?? Tell us more!! and the stats on the stone 9x7mm???

Thanks Crazy4cuts and Chatoyancy. :) I bought the gem from Jim McCormick who I don't believe is on the vendor list. The setting held a previous, very homely CC Chrysoberyl and my jeweler swapped out the stones today. It is lucky that the new Chrysoberyl fit this setting. I wanted a Chryso that didn't turn a bit grey in the sun like my other ones do, so it is a nice addition to my collection. Thanks again for the kind words.

Wow, that color! Very lovely proportions. I imagine one would feel energized just wearing it because of the envigorating liveliness of the color.
