Thank YOU so much, Kenny, for taking the time to cut and paste parts of the calendar showing my ring. I have the original picture in my HD of that yellow flower shot and I recall writing all that in my prior emails to WF.

That is a swoon-worthy ring! But I wonder why they did the glamor shot against such a yellow background. Doesn't it interfere with the color of the stone? Maybe it's just me and my photographic preferences.

In any case, it doesn't change the fact that the ring is absolutely gorgeous! I opened the linked thread and when I saw the hand shot, I felt dizzy, no joke

Maybe they have too many pictures with a black background in the 2011 calendar? While a black background makes just about anything pop, at least the red spinel is able to stand on its own against the yellow background. I was also a bit surprised by their choice of pictures among all those taken of the ring, but hey, I'm not complaining if it makes the cut.
