Every year Christmas and holiday music is posted on Pricescope. Feel free to post a link to one of your favorite holiday tunes.

This song is sung by a number of groups. One can hear The Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing, "Angels We Have Heard On High" in the mix.

That's a lovely rendition! I have favorites from all different genres. If I had to choose just one though, it would be this... still gives me chills.

My favourite carol of all time, the first time I sang it was at school, in 3 parts female voices:

Shepherds' Farewell

DK :))

I made a new list this year (as I always do) and here are some of my favorites for the holiday.

There are 127 songs on my Christmas list 2022 but I will share just a few with you

Fairytale of NY KT Turnstall

Silent Night The Dickies

Winter Sound Of Monsters and Men

Up on the House Top Zach Gill

Diamond in the Moonlight Harvey Summers

A Long December Counting Crows

Christmas Canoodle Jay Price

Santa's Kiss Jay Price

Christmas Time Smashing Pumpkins

Carol of the Bells The birds and the bee

Christmas Cracker Jez Miller

Tinkerbell Phillp Hochstrate

I have limited enthusiasm for Christmas music as I get older but several favorites. Both George Michael’s and Taylor Swift’s “Last Christmas,” and Mariah Carey’s “ All I Want For Christmas Is You” are the only ones that generate any happy feelings in me when I hear them.

Maybe too many years in retail, too many years practicing all the traditionals on piano, trying to hit that high A in the Hallelujah Chorus without sounding like a strangled cat. I just want a cute bop I can realistically sing along to.

I love this song. When I sing to myself at Christmas--it is often this!!!!

I do not pretend to have listened to a fraction of these yet, but I am delighted you gave me a list with large number of songs that look new to me. Are you putting up "Perfect Gift" this year?

Hugs, missy!

This is for you Deb.

(((((Hugs)))))) to you ❤️

Adding another from my list. We all know this song and it's hilarious (and a very catchy tune) imo

And one more...a Chanukah song I actually like lol there aren't many jewish holiday songs I like.
This is one of my favorite versions. By Erran Baron Cohen

And while this is not technically a holiday song it is on my Christmas 2022 list. Hope you enjoy

Sorry, one more! I added many not well known songs to my list this year. I was getting tired of the conventional holiday songs. Another very catchy tune and the words...LOL

For pop music, my favourite is always "All I Want For Christmas Is You" - Mariah Carey; closely followed by "Underneath The Tree" - Kelly Clarkson.

How about a whole Christmas Musical? We watched “Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square” last night. Think “It’s a wonderful Life” meets Dolly Parton. Campy and predictable, but also heartwarming and fun - and it left or a dry eye in the house.

"River"
Linda Ronstadt

"Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy"
Bing Crosby and David Bowie

Where are my GenXrs?

Monnie's last contribution convinced me to repost a song I have often posted before, a very irreverent one called, "The Season's Upon Us" by The Dropkick Murphys.

Mary Chaplin Carpenter - Come Darkness, Come Light

I love this sweet sad song. Hope you enjoy it too

Merry Christmas everyone. Sharing one of my favorite songs this time of year. An oldie (like me) but magical in every way

This is a cover, but I heard it while listening to a Sarah McLachlan CD just before Christmas and I really lked it, so when I saw you had shared Joni Mitchell's original version I thought I would share this one, @missy.

"The River"
Sarah McLachlan

We went to see Straight No Chaser just before Xmas. They are a little over-produced at this point, but they closed with a lovely, no-microphone, non-amplified version of Mary Did You Know.
