Christie's Magnificent Jewels

Did anyone else look through the catalogue for this? It is online at http://www.christies.com/. There are some beautiful things, red spinels, Paraibas. But there are also a pair of spess earrings that are so brown, and the estimate is over 86k! And these Paraibas look like aquamarine to me.

Not only are they of unusually excellent crystal, but they are huge!!

Well again IF the photos are accurate, I'm not loving any of them. The large spinel is nice in color, but the window makes it look like a huge coffee table. The other spinel, in the ring, looks like a garnet.

I almost wondered if the pictures were not accurate....you expect more at those prices...
