I have a choice between palladium and WG with palladium alloy. Which would you choose for a three stone ring and why?

I would go with an 18K white gold/palladium (indeed I currently am for new ring and band).

I just prefer gold alloys over palladium or platinum. I have never had a palladium ring and just tried them on. I did have a very plain platinum ring which I did not like and gave away (did not like the way it looked when it got its patina going!).

Compared directly to palladium, the white gold alloy (if 18K at least) will be a little heavier than palladium. The gold should retain its luster longer and does not scratch as easily which is a benefit if there is a lot of smooth surface on the ring. I have seen around the forums that palladium does not patina quite as well as platinum so if you are hoping to get platinum without the price of platinum (as palladium is often marketed)....you might be disappointed. And some jewelers are still unfamiliar with it (though to be fair, the white gold/palladium alloy might still be rather unfamiliar for some of them too if you intend to work with local jewelers!).

And, some of my bias comes from that my very fair skin tone looks better with the warm- white of the white gold/palladium alloys I have tried on over the palladium rings which is a cooler gray-white. I do prefer the white gold without plating though.

The palladium issue is not a platinum wanna be thing it''s an allergy thing and an I can''t afford platinum thing.

I like palladium. I''ve seen it in person and it was what I was requesting. WF charges almost (at least on my ring) the same as platinum! It would be less than a hundred dollars difference! But they offered me a better priced option of a wg/pd alloy for the allergy to nickel I have. I can choose between 14k and 18k. I am actually leaning to the 14k should I go with them as (if i read this correctly) due to the weight of palladium, or lack of weight a 14k wg/pd mixture is 58% gold and 42% palladium.

The other company that charges less for palladium has quoted me as such. The quotes are close-ish in price and I''m trying to weigh the pros and cons to each. The price is a little different but so is the exact product offered. I''m prob not making sense and rambling.
