If you look at the bottom of the pages the products are shown on, it says

"Sweet indulgence. Chocolate brown plating over yellow 14K gold gives this trendy 20"L Singapore necklace a flavor all its own, making it a special treat for you or the fashionista on your list. Layer more than one for extra shimmer or pair it with a pendant for personalized style. From the Chocolate Gold(TM) Jewelry Collection.

* Yellow 14K gold with chocolate brown plating "

Oh geez! I didn''t see that before-- I didn''t know you had to click on an individual item to see the chocolate gold description. I only saw the main page which only gave me pics, but no details. Thanks for checking that out for me!

I think QVC should work on their website navigability a little!

No problem! I know my way around QVC!

I did the SAME thing! I was looking on there for a jewelry box and saw that, and thought about asking here! I didn''t see the description either

Nordstrom sells a real chocolate and rose gold necklace for $5,000+. It seems they raise the temp of rose gold to make it a chocolate color. Very expensive jewelry, but beautiful.

To the best of my recollection, no one has said anything about chocolate gold in the the gold thread yet. Would one of you who is knowledgeable about it do so, please? I am protective of that thread and try to keep it going :-). Thank you!

Hopefully someone will chime in. I don''t really know too much about it. I just heard that they take rose gold and raise the temp on it, to make it the chocolate color.

Here is an article I found on how they do it.

Hope this helps a little.

WEll I guess they don''t raise the temp on it, after reading the article. Now I have learned something new. HA!!

Anyway, I would sure love to own that necklace. What a beauty.
