I did a google search for "cornflower blue sapphires", and I clicked on the google images results at the top of the page, and as I browsed through the pics, I saw a really nice sapphire and clicked on it to find its page, which led me to an apparently high end jewelry store called Omi Prive. From there I clicked 'jewelry' and then 'rings' from the drop down menu. From there you are shown a very large collection of rings, and you scroll down and click on whichever you like, and each ring has its own page, and all the ones I looked at included a report.

Anyway, I see this really nice looking blue sapphire ring and click it, and on its page they refer to this sapphire as violet, but its really blue with a slight violet tone. Its 8.61ct, very clean, fully transparent, and has almost no extinction. What I was impressed with was the report saying its unheated/untreated. This ring is sold(they include pics of items for sale and sold), but I would love to know its price. Anyone ever heard of Omi Prive?

The blue in that sapphire looks too good to be true; I think the color is amped up a bit. The photo on the certificate is quite a bit darker. I've heard of them but can't remember in what context.

while it says sold it also says that it was "acquired by one of our retail partners". There is a button to click on to inquire about the item, and likely be put in touch with the retailer.

I agree with JewelFreak that the color is amped up for that sapphire, and for its size and probably its price, I would want a full prestige report. That one says nothing about the tone or saturation.

The site is a great find! I really appreciate the workmanship of some of these pieces. Thanks for the post!
