Hi everyone! Making a travel ring and I am looking for a CHEAP yellow gold solitaire setting. The stone is very inexpensive so I do NOT want to spend too much. I wanted double claw prong but would be ok with singe if that's all that I can afford. The stone is an antique cushion cut, 9x11 mm. What I've found so far, and would love more suggestions..

Jewerlyhoo can make it in 14k yellow for $200, 18k yellow for $265

Still waiting on a quote from erica on a stuller and waiting on a quote from amcor for their "incredible" solitaire setting. I messaged them directly, I can't figure out how to contact "poppyseed."

Thanks for any help you can give:)

I can't imagine you're going to do better than $200 unless you find something preloved.

Be a bit cautious, there are a lot of settings out there from China that are toilet paper thin.

Visit a local goldsmith in an Asian community.

Soxfan, personally i want to see that antique cushion, 9 X 11 mm stone!!! How exciting:dance:
Good luck in your yellow gold setting persuit:wavey:

Will jewelryhoo set the stone for you?

It's not a diamond, so not allowed to post pics:)

I would LOVE to find a pre-loved! Tried posting on WTB on LT but it won't take ANY pics right now

Check out pawn shops. It's common for them to get in a ring, take out the diamond and sell it separately, and be left with just the mounting.

I have issues posting on LT unless I use only jpeg images and upload one at a time. So load one pic, update the listing, load another pic, update the listing, etc. Maybe try that?

I've got one coming today!! Sure hope that new forum opens soon!
