I'm doing one charm bracelet per decade of life.
I'm about to be... *cough... * another age. So, it's time to buy a new bracelet.
My current/this decade bracelet is a vintage sterling silver bracelet. The charms on it are silver, gold, plastic, costume "silver" looking charms, and anything else. I like adding trinkets from costume jewelry like this. The downside is that the silver-esque jump rings rust if I store the bracelet near the shower. I use jewelry cleaner and that removes the rust. Still, it would be tempting to buy a new bracelet that's nice silver and use only sterling jump rings and charms.
For my new bracelet, I'm debating what to get.
Do I buy a nice new sterling charm bracelet? And go with only sterling charms on it?
Do I buy a cheap vintage sterling charm bracelet? And add any charm made of anything on it?
Do I want tons and tons of charms like my current bracelet? Or, do I want fewer charms that each have more meaning?
