I love this thin channel set eternity ring:

I''l be pairing it up with a three stone x-prong/trellis, all princess cuts, from WhiteFlash. I''ve asked Bob (who has endless patience!) to see if they can make this style of eternity as well. But DH questions whether an eternity band made of rounds won''t clash with a three stone princess e-ring? I think it''ll look great (IMO

) and plan to wear it with my new e-ring as well as alone. I like that it''s thinner so it won''t overwhelm the three stone and that it''s channel set so eating of the e-ring prongs might not be such an issue.

But I''d love other opinions!

Here is the 3 stone ring- (not mine, but it''ll be very close to this one)

And here is the eternity ring I''m considering (.50tcw)

I think it would look great.

So you''ve decided upon the trellis rather than the W-prong? I think they''re both lovely... And I like the thin eternity you posted- I wear my princess with a band that''s slightly wider (with just over a carat tw). I love the look and I think you''d be able to pair yours with your plain band and perhaps next would be another type like the shared prong for stacking purposes...

Sounds pretty. I''ve a chanel set princess ering setting and the princess melee doesnt'' sparkle as much as rb. Much as I like my rings to somehow have a matching link, the SP band is so thin that all you''d see are sparkly bits not the actually rbs, thus look more of a match imo?

It''s your ring - wear it as you please - and in good health!

I think it would be fine, but so would a thin channel set band with princesses. Either way would be fine.

Thanks Amy! I think so as well, but DH was/is having doubts.

Lisa,

I adore the w-prong but after talking to Bob and him sending me a photo (the one I attached above) for a princess cut, I prefer the x-prong just slightly more than the w-prong. If I had a round center stone I was having put into a three stone, I would totally go for the w-prong with heart tips! Belle''s ring is to die for!

It''s funny you mention stacking, because I have that in mind! I already have a half-eternity princess ring so it doesn''t make sense to get a full princess eternity (IMO). I prefer shared prong round eternity bands over channel, but I''ve read too many posts about shared prongs eating e-ring prongs. So I thought the round channel eternity would be nice for stacking, wearing with my three stone, or wearing alone!

Thanks elle! I think they''ll go great together. I think DH will need to actually SEE it on my finger to agree!

KC- I already own a half-eternity princess channel diamond band. I''ve looked into with both WF and Quest to have the stones taken out, more stones added and made into a princess channel eternity, but it''s a huge headache and the cost of it is more than I thought it would be. And since I really prefer eternity bands (I wear my rings a but loose so they spin alot), this way I can have variety, stack rings, etc!
