Certificate differences

I recently looked at some diamonds that have EGL certificates. I have mostly been straying from EGL diamonds because of less strict standards. First of all, is this a mistake? Secondly, what is the differences in the EGL labs? The diamonds I looked at were EGL Belgium certified.

You could expect 1/2 to a grade soft on color and clarity from Belguim and possibly worse from Israel. I have an example stone from the latter that is 2 grades off in each.

EGL USA is ok though.

I agree with Garry 100%. Also, EGL Antwerp doesn NOT plot all the inclusions. Sometimes they forget the grade setter one.
