All,

I urgently need some advice on a centre stone. I have been looking around for ages, and haven't found an amazing stone which I liked within the 1.25-1.4ct range.

Today, I came across a beautiful round brilliant stone, but very worried it would be on the small side. She has small hands anyway so I don't think it would be too bad right?

I would greatly appreciate any advice on the stone, if you think it is worth me just going ahead with this and getting and if the price is good.

I'm just so worried that because so many people in Hong Kong just care about the carat size, that 1.16 might be on the small side :( (i also worry if she might think the same!)

Anyway, back to the stone:

GIA - Round Brilliant
1.16CT, F, VVS2
3 EX
Flourescence None

Proportions

Depth - 61.4
Table - 56
Crown - 34.5
Pavillion - 41

Price: $15,770 USD

Thanks in advance for any help!

Both look promising from the numbers. Any idealscope image?

Thank you for your reply!

No ideal scope image, I checked and they do have one in store which I will go and have a look at tomorrow. From the HCA checker they both seem good. Just hope the 1.43's "Very Good" should still look amazing when mounted etc...

Any ideas on which you think is a better value? and are the prices in line with the market rate at the moment?
