@lyra I also suspected you might suffer AS. DH was diagnosed in 1998 and has the genetic markers, evidently from his father’s side. I suspect one of his nephews also carries the trait(s), as he is exhibiting similar symptoms to DH when he was the nephew’s age.
DH is also on methotrexate. He was on Humira and had an episode of undetected sepsis which was nearly the end of him! His rheumatologist was really leery of using Remicade after that. Can’t blame him...
My SIL has Crohn’s (w/ multiple surgeries) which you likely know is in the same “family” as AS. She finds excellent pain relief w/ cannabis.
I’ve done a lot of research into dosing and the same advice is always given: It’s personal trial and error to find the right dosage and or strain that works. It’s really fascinating to me!
A friend of mine has a relative (young teen) who was experiencing multiple seizures daily. She started on cannabis (I don’t recall the strain, dosage, etc.) and within a week, the seizures went down to just two or three times a week. The family was / is amazed.
