"CB" Vintage Ring Marking

Hello Everyone!

I come to you about a question that I couldnt solve myself; I'm thinking of purchasing a little 14k mixed gold vintage ring that has a 4mm old mine cut diamond.

The stamping inside of the band is "CB". Does anyone know what this stands for?
