Hello All,

And just when I thought I had it all figured out, then enters Caysie Van Bebben. I have been corresponding with Maytal regarding my reset and think her work is stunning, she has an excellent reputation and I have a great gut feeling with her; however, I recently reached out to Caysie just to compare prices and she seems awesome. Her prices are right on par, and she does offer handforged as well for a small premium. One HUGE upside is that if I decided to use her for a handforged piece she still provides CAD drawings!!! This is huge... I'm honestly ready to pull the trigger on this, but wanted to get your input before I send in my ring to MH. I can't really find a lot of examples of CVB's work, which dissapoints me a bit? They are both super prompt and seem really kind, which is important, on what I feel, is a very important experience. I appreciate your input. TIA :wavey:

Maytal and Caysie are both very talented ring designers and very nice, too! I have had one experience with both of them and both were great to work with!

I am just replying to tell you that you can see more pictures from Caysie on her Facebook page: CVB Inpsired Design.

Diamondseeker- thank you for responding! I know MH made your daughter's wedding band, if I remember correctly? I didn't know you had also worked with CVB?! Lucky lady! I'm going to check out her FB page- thanks again, DS! :wavey:

I guess I will pop in here too among your many e-ring threads.

Caysie is fantastic and I adore her. I also have a gorgeous ring from her but more to come on that later.

A lot of the decisions you are asking for is personal preference and you will have to make it on your own. All the choices and options are wonderful. If you ask me, I think someone who can provide you with a CAD is better suited for you - you seem like someone who would be more comfortable if you can see something, make changes and tweaks, think it through, etc. You can do that with CAD images and without them .. I can imagine potential disappointment especially with the artistic liberties some benches / designers take.

Yes, Maytal did make my daughter's wedding band and I recently had Caysie make me a french cut sapphire band. Here is that thread with some pictures:

I'll have to check out your other thread to see what you are planning. I have been on vacation and just took a child to college so I haven't been on here much in the last few weeks!

Okay, I remember the ring with the double halo. Are you making one like that or just a simple pave halo?

Charmypoo- as always, I appreciate your insight, and yes, I have been a little crazy... I'm just soooo excited! Caysie seems very "step by step," which I really appreciate.

DiamondSeeker- I am looking at a double halo similar to Jessica Biel's ring. I'm corresponding with Caysie, she seemed to really understand the "vision." Question for you, DS, You have so much experience, do you think handforged is the way to go... I am leaning that way, but CVB states that this design would be perfectly fine in CAD since they create each piece seperartely anyway? She offers both options, but I thought I would ask. I attached a picture...
