Caught the menagerie bug and got a gold critter..

After seeing Catmom's cute critters I got the bug myself and found this super cool (to me anyway) estate 14k sculptural octopus slide pendant.
The octopus is one of my favorite fascinating animals, especially deep sea ones. Now I just wait for the lovely mail folk to do their thing

Hmm maybe it should be a she. Females of the species are pretty wild in their dedication and ability to guard their eggs. Apparently there was a story of a deep water octopus that sat and guarded her eggs for 4 YEARS without eating or moving away.

That is a fantastic piece you've acquired!! I just LOVE the glow, warmth and richness of gold! The octopus appears like it in motion, really dynamic.
I also adore it's two tentacles are the bail! Really artistic piece! you did so well!
