cast versus handmade price difference

This is my first post. I've been spending the past few months looking at everyone's beautiful rings and figuring out what I like. I'm now at the stage where I've contacted some vendors for price quotes. While I know that quotes for individual rings can't really be compared b/c of variations over time in metal and diamond prices, I am curious to know what people think the monetary value difference is between a custom cast ring (e.g. from brian gavin or whiteflash) and a custom handmade ring (e.g. from leon mege or victor canera). For the same design, what kind of premium should be expected for a handmade ring?

there really isn't a set amount for how much more a handmade ring may cost. There are so many factors involved in quotes included the current price of metal etc. I do know in the past folks have been surprised after getting quotes from Leon and WF or other companies that cast that their prices were similar with Leon sometimes being even lower. Best thing to do would be to contact the companies you are interested in with your design/ring request and get quotes from each of them.
