Cartier tomorrow!

I have wanted a trinity ring for YEARS! I have had an especially tough time at work for the last few months and I need something to cheer me up. The rainy day funds are being blown tomorrow! I know that the prices are taking a hike within the next few weeks so I'm jumping on it before I have to save up more. I also prefer the newer model which only says "Cartier" on the rose gold band, I did not like the "Les Must de Cartier" at all.

I plan on getting the 2.9mm version but I'll have to confirm that tomorrow. I would have ordered online but I hear the sizing on them can be very off from the typical size. Fingers crossed they have my size when I go tomorrow!

asscher halo lover Was at Cartier on Fith ave today and he quoted me $1200 for the 2.9mm one (which is up from novembers quote of $1000) and apparently he says there will be a price increase next week. No charge for engraving with in 90 days of purchase.

Good idea to try them on. I thought I wanted the small, I ended up getting the extra small (somewhat on accident) and I'm completely in love with it. Also, I had to size up one, so definitely good to try it on!

Size 50 was perfect! This is the "extra small". Each band is 2.9mm and it's perfect!

EDIT: I checked a few watch forums I frequent and they say price increase on April 29th.

Thank you all for the compliments! While I love the ring I think my favorite part may be the box, it's so nice, definitely a keeper!

I brought up the subject of a price increase to the SA and she confirmed it, she actually said it would be next week. Now that I have mine I have to decide how to have it engraved, engraving is complimentary as long as it is done within 90 days of purchase, time to get thinking!

Thank you all! It's such a comfy ring, I haven't taken it off! It's nice to wash my hands and not worry about diamond getting gunky, this will probably be my everyday lone standing wedding band, I'll save the diamonds for the weekend.

According to the Cartier SA this is the extra small (2.9mm), the stores do still have the even thinner version (referred too as XXS) which are leftover from the previous "Les Must de Cartier" collection. They had it when I went and the bands are super skinny, they look like etsy stackers they're so small.

I had a twinge of OMG this is way to much money for a simple gold piece of jewelry moment but I am happily over it

One of the reasons I got this ring is that my ER and wedding band no longer fit. I have lost 60lbs since I was married and I don't want to size my rings until I know I'm done loosing weight. The ring size is a 50 or just over 5 us size. My ER and WB are a 6.25. I don't wear this with anything else. It looks pretty awful with my other rings but I will take pics just so you can see.
