To get the best bang for your money you should consider buying a certified diamond from another source and buying the Cartier setting from Cartier then put it together.
If you want to save more money, you can get your favourite Cartier setting made from another vendor. Nobody but you will know the difference. If you can afford it then disregard this suggestion.![]()

Cartier won''t set a non-Cartier diamond except in exceptional circumstances, and the stone has to undergo all sorts of scrutiny. One PS''er did this previously, can''t remember who. Cartier don''t sell just settings.
