To be honest, sometimes I forget that the melee diamonds exist. They are very small and not that noticeable. I wear my e-ring once a week or so, and I often get compliments when I move my hand to do something. For example, when I reached my hand into a purse to get a wallet at a deli, the cashier commented on the ring design last week. I love the little extra sparkle the tiny diamonds add. The Caroline is very elegant and goes well with many wedding bands.

Oh, it is gorgeous! I think 1.4 is a wonderful size, and H color will look so good in that setting! In fact, my daughter has an H SI1 set in that setting (Definitely stick with platinum. Prices are closer than ever between gold and platinum mountings these days because gold is so high.)

Thank you! I agree that the ring is both very elegant and classic! It looks beautiful paired with a diamond wedding band, too! But you can buy that later, thankfully! Yes, I do hope it is totally eyeclean! Let us know what happens!
