Hi All,
I have my heart set on a Cartier Engagement Ring (ballerine) but unfortunately they don't have any made with the specifications i want that will fit my finger. So the sales assistant recommended the Set For You option they provide, where you select a diamond from Cartier and they make it. But I am a little reluctant to buy a ring I've not seen, even though i've already tried on a Ballerine style ring.
Just wondering if anyone has used the Set For You option and if they've had any problems with it? Or if anyone has had any problems with Cartier's diamond rings at all? I read in a few forums about crooked Cartier solitair diamonds and Cartier rings that have cracked.
Also, I have been told that Cartier negotiate on prices but when I asked the sales assistant if we could negotiate the price they said no. Has anyone successfully negotiated an engagement ring price at Cartier? How much did you manage to get off and how did you go about doing it.
Sorry for the bombardment of questions but any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks heaps!
